	SAAS NEWSDESK Members News 28th August 2008 A good day was had at the Second World War Aircraft Museum at Lasham on Sunday 24th August. The weather cleared and in all 10 members attended. We also gained a new member to the SAAS


	SAAS NEWSDESK Members News 8th June 2008 Jon’s latest painting celebrates 90 years since the formation of 74 (F) Tiger Squadron of the RAF and portrays many of the aircraft his old squadron flew during that time along with over 40 signatures of former squadron members from Spitfire and Hurricane crews through to the Hawks era. Jon being part of the Hunter era.



	SAAS NEWSDESK Members News 8th June 2008 Another excellent venue at Goodwood with fine weather brought out the members to draw and paint some of the historic, restored aircraft..

There was an excellent turn-out for our last Artists outing to ATC Lasham. We had ten members attend plus a.n.other for the day.

ATC provided a challenging range of subjects to choose from.

Who said “ let’s go and enjoy a spring like day at Merryfield Park and wave the
SAAS Flag”????

Despite the raging snowstorm and having to crunch our way through 2” of snow, Paul and Jon and his wife Jo, set up the exhibition stands and soon had paintings and information on view.
Ted and his wife joined us later.

A lot of interest was shown, but alas, no sales or new members, but it was an interesting day.
