SAAS April Painting Day

We were lucky for our visit to Trafalgar Wharf in Porchester.  The weather was fair, a little bit of wind, there was a canteen on site and parking to.  After a Safety Briefing, we were left to explore the site with its myriad of yachts, cruisers, tugs & RIB’S either alongside or on stands.  We were spoilt for choice but off we went looking for a spot out of the wind. Below are photographs to give a flavour of the day.  
Alan & Ted managed to find a convenient spot and Fred looked as if he was on the Riviera complete with palm tree and grassy patch.  It was a very enjoyable day for the nine SAAS members who turned up.  

We now look forward to our next painting day on Tuesday, 15th May when we're booked in for a days painting at the Mid Hants Railway at Ropley,  see you then.
